February 13th = self-love day

While romantic love is awesome, it's also not the most important love you'll know in life. There's another that trumps it and pretty much everything. That is the love you have with YOURSELF, which is irreplaceable and invaluable in creating a life that's uniquely meant for you.

Self-love not only tells you what you're worth, but reminds you of it when the time comes to invite someone else in. Which is why I recommend celebrating the love story you have with yourself, whether you're currently single or in a relationship.

As often and regularly as you possibly can — but definitely on February 13th, which has officially been labeled "self-love day” — celebrate the love story you have with yourself.

Celebrate self-love day this Saturday by journaling, meditating, laying on the sofa and daydreaming, binge-watching The Real Housewives or some other guilty pleasure, going for a long walk -- whatever brings you joy, inspires you and lifts you up.

Or even better - grab and read my book, Big Wild Love: the Unstoppable Power of Letting Go - I've made the Kindle version available (just this week) for the amazing price of $0.99, ending on February 13th at midnight!

Through my story, other women’s stories, surprising facts and statistics, and helpful exercises, Big Wild Love will show you the way back to the self you’ve lost. It will put you on the path to change and teach you that, wherever you are, it’s never too late to start anew and find the Big Wild Love you deserve.

All of this doesn't mean you should only celebrate yourself on self-love day.

Take just a minute out of your schedule today (right now?). Breathe deeply and remember that you're a whole, amazing person who is worthy of the love you want.

Then, do it again tomorrow and the day after and the day after...
