5 podcasts to help you cope with heartbreak and/or divorce
Heartbreak and loss can feel like an insurmountable obstacle when you’re in the thick of it, trying to find the light and the path OUT of that pain.
My TEDx Talk, The Unstoppable Power of Letting Go, opens with a story of love and loss - MY story. I tell this story because it is an all-too-familiar ache that thousands of people can relate to. And then I remind them that the story doesn’t stop there.
While I’ve been sharing my story and developing resources to help others deal with that pain, I’ve also discovered 5 amazing podcasts by 5 all-around great people, who tackle that evergreen question: How do we let go and move on in the wake of heartbreak?
If you’re struggling on any level in a relationship, these podcasts are all worth listening to!

Podcast #3: The Divorce Doctor Podcast
Despite the rise in divorce rates, the stigma that divorce is a failure is prevalent. I love this podcast because Elizabth Cohen, Ph.D. reminds us that divorce is NOT failure. Cohen interviews real, everyday people who have struggled and been through the pains of divorce - and come out successfully on the other side, in one way or another. This is a great podcast to listen to, if only for the reminder that we are not alone.

Podcast #4: The Divorced Woman’s Guide
Wendy Sterling hosts this podcast which discusses issues that might arise during your relationship, and after you’ve made the decision to divorce. These include touchy subjects like finances, intimacy issues, resentment, and so much more. Talking with Wendy feels like chatting with an old friend who has been by your side through the good, the bad, and the ugly of your relationship - and is there to talk you through the “What’s next?” moments.
